You run the business.
I’ll do the grant homework.
Finding grants, sorting through the requirements, pulling the application together—it takes time you may not have.
I help small businesses and organizations pursue funding opportunities that make sense for them. You get honest answers, careful work, and someone who follows through.

A good idea deserves
a thoughtful application.
I handle the research and application work so you can stay focused on what you do best.
Find the right fit.
I look for opportunities based on your business, location, goals, and project, then review eligibility and deadlines.
Put your story to work.
Application preparation, writing and editing, supporting documents, and budget coordination—organized and reviewed with you.
Keep things moving.
Submission support and deadline tracking, with clear updates so you know what’s researched, in progress, and submitted.
Here’s the honest part: I can do the research and prepare a strong application. I can’t guarantee eligibility, approval, or funding. The funder makes that decision. If an opportunity isn’t a fit, I’ll tell you.
Need help with one application or an ongoing search? We’ll agree on the scope, fees, and timeline before work begins.

What to know before we start.
Can you guarantee a grant?
No. I can research opportunities, review requirements, and prepare thoughtful applications. Funders decide who receives an award. My fees pay for the agreed work, regardless of the outcome.
Do I need to know which grant I want?
No. We can start with your business and goals, then research opportunities. If you already have a grant in mind, I can review the requirements with you.
Can I hire you for just one application?
Yes. We can discuss a single application or ongoing research and application support. The scope and cost are agreed before work begins.
Are you still offering HR consulting?
Absolutely. HR consulting remains part of Miranda HR Consulting. Rebekah and Bonnie bring experienced support for hiring, employee relations, benefits, policies, and the people side of running a business.

Yes. I research opportunities based on your business, location, project, and goals, then review the eligibility requirements. Some businesses have more options than others. If I don’t find a realistic fit, I’ll be honest with you.
-
No. I work alongside your existing payroll, benefits, and HRIS vendors to ensure processes are aligned, compliant, and clearly communicated. My role is to coordinate and support — not replace — your vendors.
-
I primarily support small and growing businesses across a variety of industries. My experience includes highly regulated environments, unionized settings, and corporate organizations — allowing me to adapt HR support to your specific needs.
-
Both. Services are offered on a fractional monthly basis or as project-based support, depending on what makes the most sense for your business.

Yes. I provide guidance on compliance matters including ACA reporting, 401(k) audits and testing coordination, policies, documentation, and audit readiness — helping businesses stay compliant and prepared.
-
After an initial consultation, support can typically begin quickly, depending on scope and availability. My goal is to provide timely, responsive support without unnecessary delays.
-
Yes. I have direct experience working in unionized settings, including labor relations, grievances, and collective bargaining environments. This perspective is valuable for organizations navigating complex employee relations matters.

The consultation is a conversation — not a sales pitch. We’ll discuss your business, current challenges, and goals, and determine whether working together is a good fit.
A Straight Answer About Grants
I can research opportunities and prepare strong applications. I can’t guarantee eligibility, approval, or an award. Funders make those decisions.
